Chancellery Delegation Discusses with Qatar Ways to Strengthen Humanitarian Support for Sudan Doha, October 1, 2026

During an official visit to the State of Qatar, a delegation from the Sovereign Council’s Advisory Office for Organizational and Humanitarian Affairs discussed ways to strengthen humanitarian cooperation and support efforts to transition from the emergency phase to recovery and development in Sudan. The delegation, which included the Executive Director of the Advisory Office, Major General Mujahid Abdul Jabbar; Major General Amn Mashair Youssef; and Dr. Amal Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, met with leaders from Qatar Charity, the Qatar Red Crescent, and the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies. The meetings addressed ways to enhance humanitarian and health assistance, as well as support for recovery, development, and return projects.
