Lieutenant General Al-Sadiq Ismail Mahmoud, Advisor to the Sovereignty Council on Organizations and Humanitarian Affairs, met with Mr. Lorenzo Caravi on the occasion of his assumption of duties as head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mission in Sudan.
At the start of the meeting, Mr. Caravi introduced himself as the new head of the delegation, expressing his deep appreciation for the efforts made by the Government of Sudan to overcome obstacles and facilitate the work of humanitarian organizations operating in the country.
